A wage subsidy was his way to a job

Sotirios sent many applications. And unfortunately, he also received quite a few rejections. But then he got in touch with Katja Feldstein at the consulting company Keepers. The path to the job was paved after a positive coffee meeting.

In the video Sotirios tells more about his experience.Sotirios is a mathematics graduate from Greece, who is currently learning Danish and enjoying his new job in data science – as well as being part of Keepers. At Keepers Sotirios helps companies with their financial management.

"I found a family," Sotirios says.

In the video we also meet Katja, who is partner at Keepers. She talks about how she invited Sotirios to a coffee meeting. At the meeting, he was really good at explaining how he has strengthened his skills during his unemployment period. Sotirios showed his enthusiasm and motivation for the company during the meeting because he wanted to become part of the team. The meeting led to a job with wage subsidies.

"I chose to create a new job for Sotirios. Through the jobcenter, we were able to get a wage subsidy where Sotirios could build skills in the IT tool we use for data science," Katja says.

Today, Sotirios is employed in a regular job at Keepers. Furthermore, our figures at the jobcenter show that 71% find a job within 3 months after finishing a wage subsidy.
